Brenda Sue Cunningham, 65, of Fort Gay, WV went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 13, 2021. Brenda was born November 10, 1955 in Columbus, OH to the late John Earl and Muriel June (Dowden) Nix. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son William Cunningham II; 1 brother; 1 sister; and her special beagle Buddy.

Brenda was a member of Community Chapel Church in Fort Gay. She loved her family, loved to quilt and loved to garden.

Survivors include her husband William Cunningham; children Cathy (Randy) Stephens and Kelly Sue (Wesley) Stutler; grandchildren Jacob Dean (Seirra) Whaley, Emylee Dawn (Michael Aaron) Hutchinson, Molly Brooke (Timothy Griffith) Whaley, Amber (Benjamin) Parks, and Hannah Stephens; great grandchildren Grayson Hutchinson, Harley Parks, Hudson Griffith, and one on the way; 1 brother; best friend Debbie Mae Presley; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
