Alice Horrisberger, 89, of Millersburg and formerly of Walnut Creek, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Danbury of Millersburg.

Born in Holmes County on December 23, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Kate (Hershberger) Gerber, Sr. and married Doran Horrisberger on December 8, 1951. He survives and resides at Danbury.

She was a cook at East Holmes Schools for many years.

She was a member of St. John's Church of Walnut Creek and was part of the food committee for many years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three daughters, Sandy (Keith) Hershberger of Benton, Pam (Don) Gingerich of Trail, and Lynne Hershberger of Canton; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister, June (Budd) Miller of Walnut Creek; brother, Stanley (Barb) Gerber of Berlin; and sisters-in-law Maxine Gerber of Sugarcreek and Ruth Gerber of Walnut Creek.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Wayne Gerber and Harry Gerber Jr. and sister-in-law Doris Gerber.

Private family services will be held at the convenience of the family.
