Betty Gaye Ramey, 63, passed away Friday, December 4, 2015, after a short illness.

The first child of Bart and Virginia Dare Francisco, Betty was born in Pike County, Kentucky on October 5, 1952. She grew up in Chicago, Illinois, graduating from Nicholas Senn High School in 1970. A longtime resident of Lexington, Kentucky, Betty retired from Central Baptist Hospital and moved to Alabama to be close to her first grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her father and her brother, Terry.

Services will be held this Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Gardendale, Alabama. Visitation is from 9 to 11 a.m. with a memorial service to follow.
