James Edward "Jimmy" Johnson, 55, suddenly passed away on January 2, 2024 at his home in Columbus, OH. He was born on December 3, 1968 and raised in Clay County, WV.
In 1992, Jimmy graduated from West Virginia Technical Institute with a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Relations.
He spent much of his adult life in Charleston, WV where he had a long and successful career as a Financial Advisor. He began with Merrill Lynch before becoming a Vice President of Investments at Wells Fargo.
Jimmy married and eventually moved to Nashville, TN and then Columbus, OH where he became an independent advisor for RBC Wealth Management. Although he truly cared for his clients, in 2022 he retired from his decades-long career in Investments and transitioned into sales for Columbus-based Kimball Midwest.

Jimmy was a true animal lover and leaves behind his precious dogs Parker-Paisley and Ellie-Mae. He was a "people" person who always had a smile on his face and lit up the room with his fun and magnetic personality. Jimmy had a rock-star karaoke voice, legendary moves on the dance floor and was an encyclopedia of knowledge when it came to sports trivia. He was passionate about college football, great music, documentaries and learning about history. He enjoyed good food, traveling the world, the mountains, the beach, beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
He loved with his whole-heart and in return he was deeply-loved and will be eternally missed.
