We would like to celebrate the life of Carolyn Carter, age 78 of Winnfield, Louisiana. She passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2024. Born July 26, 1945, she was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Ruth Gray; and brother, Gary Scott Gray; and Grandparents Johnie and Ara "Big Momma" Hux; and brother-in-law, Rodney Carter.
Mama found such joy in cooking for her family and friends along with helping anyone in need! She was Mama Carol to many! She was also very proud to share her birthday with her youngest daughter Amy.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Leon Carter (Pop); her sons, Timothy Bond, Matt Bond, Chris Carter; daughters, Holly Bond (Max), Amy Grantadams (Brock); grandsons, Jordan Carpenter(Leslie), Brian Bond, Payton Bond, Levi Womack, Garrett Womack, Chase Bond, Hunter Grantadams; granddaughter, Brittany Persilver( Matt), Mackenzie Bond, Brooklyn Bond, Harley Grantadams; brother-in-law, George Carter (Donna) and David Carter(Beth); sister-in-law, Janie Fagg; and numerous great-great grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family at Midway Baptist Church in Jonesboro, LA from 12:30 PM until time of services on Friday, February 9, 2024.
Funeral services will be held at Midway Baptist Church, in Jonesboro, LA, on Friday, February 9, 2024 at 2:30 PM.
Interment will follow in the Midway Cemetery, in Jonesboro, LA, under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
