Joyce Kaye Bass, age 72 of Harrison passed away on February 19, 2024. She was born September 14, 1951, to Dewey and Pauline (Burnett) May in Harrison, Arkansas.
Kaye did genealogy research for 20-plus years. She was married to Lacey Bass for 40-plus years. They had two children. She was a devoted military wife for 22 years. She had one grandchild and one great-grandchild. Kaye loved her family more than anything.
Kaye is preceded in death by her son, Jamie Bass, husband Lacey Bass, mother, Pauline Carlson, and father, Dewey May.
Kaye is survived by her daughter, Tracey Harris of Harrison, sisters, Jayne Schmidt, Witchita, Kansas, Patsy May, Wichita, Kansas, Sue Smith, Franklin, Arkansas. grandchild, Kaylee Rae Launius, Harrison, and great-grandchild, Aurora Launius.
Services will be Thursday, 2:00 PM, February 22, 2024, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home with Ohmer Dyal officiating.
The interment will be at Hilltop Cemetery.
