Inscription

These are the original headstones of James Hornback and his wife Mary Hornback, and their sons George Hornback and Isaac Hornback, and their daughter Mary Hornback. They have been moved here from the original Hornback Cemetery located on a farm southwest of Carthage.

Randall Zane Hornback, great great grandson of James Hornback, moved the gravestones to Fullerton Cemetery in 2005 in hopes of preserving a bit of Jasper County history and also preserving the memory of this early pioneer family.

Additional family members contributing to this purpose are: Paul & Lillian Hornback- D.G. & Yvonne Rowe Hornback- Clifford & Beulah Hornback- Shirley Reynolds Hornback- Barbara Peek Hornback- Chris & Susan Hornback- Randall & Donna Hornback
