Leonard Kisselman
March 27, 1946-May 7, 2008
Age: 62
Residence: Salem. Ore., formerly of Windsor
Tribute: Leonard Henry Kisselman was born in Windsor to Henry and Mary Jane Kisselman. He grew up in Windsor and graduated in 1964.
On May 16, 1970, he married Sharen Callender in La Salle. With their two sons, they moved to Salem in 1986.
Mr. Kisselman worked in the heating and air conditioning field for 35 years before retiring in 2003. For the past five years, he enjoyed doing handyman work for friends and family.
He enjoyed vacationing on the Oregon coast. He tried deep-sea fishing, but his favorite fishing time was spent with his grandsons, Henry and Holden.
Mr. Kisselman and his wife traveled to Maui twice with close friends. He was an avid Broncos fan and was surprised by his wife with a trip to the Pro Bowl in Honolulu.
Survivors: His wife, Sharen of Salem; two sons and their wives, Kent and Shannon Kisselman of Coeur D'Alene, Idaho, and Keith and Thuy Kisselman of Wilsonville, Ore.; a sister, DiAnn Wilson and husband Dave of Pueblo; a brother, Tom Kisselman and wife Debbie of Greeley; and two grandchildren, Henry and Holden Kisselman.
Memorial services: 2 p.m. today at Howell-Edwards-Doerksen Chapel of the Gardens in Salem.
Inurnment: 10 a.m. Monday in Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, Ore.
