Charles Edward "Junior" Moses, 54, of Athens, passed away Friday, Feb. 18, 2000, at Athens Regional Medical Center.

A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, he was a son of the late Charles Edward Moses. He was employed with Johnson's Home Furnishings of Athens.

Survivors include his girlfriend, Helen Raper of Athens; his mother, Anna May Cook Moses of Athens; one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie Curley and Roger Henson of Englewood; one son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Darlene Moses of Reliance; four sisters, Corine Burton of Athens, Barbara Lones of Rockwood, Ill., Aileen Knox of Niota and Vida Franklin of Athens; four brothers, Bobby, Tommy and Billy Moses, all of Athens, and Albert Moses of Tellico Plains; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home with the Rev. Doyle Lloyd officiating. Burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in McMinn Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Eugene Martin, Bobby Martin, Rod Franklin, Mikel Moses, Shawn Moses, Shane Moses, Keith Frye and Howard Martin. Honorary pallbearer will be James Burton.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday prior to the services at the funeral home.

Ziegler Funeral Home of Athens is in charge of arrangements.
