Milo Adams died suddenly at his home in Sundance, Wyoming. He was born at Sigourney, Iowa August 26, 1863, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James M. Adams. At the age of 20, he drifted west, where he engaged for a short while, as a telegrapher at Atchison, Kansas. From there he went to Wyoming where he accepted a position on the cattle ranch of his brother-in-law, General A. P. Hanson. He was married June 12, 1887 to Miss Monta Hanson, daughter of John M. Hanson of this place, after which they located at Sundance, the county seat of Crook County. He was elected clerk of court for 2 terms. Later appointed receiver of the First National Bank. While in this position, he took up the study of law and was admitted to the bar. For several years he was the attorney for the B. & M. Railroad. Besides his wife, he leaves 4 children, Charles, Lloyd, Eugene and Dorothy. He died March 2, 1907, aged about 43 years, 6 months. Funeral from the home of J. M. Adams.
