Obituary from Faribault Daily News, Jan. 10, 1927:

George H. Grant, 42, of Red Wing, formerly of Walcott, passed away at his home Saturday night at 11:30 after a nine days' illness of pneumonia. Arthur D. Grant of Faribault, a brother, has been in Red Wing for the past week, having been called there by the sickness of his brother. Mr. Grant was born in Deerfield and when about five years of age, moved with his parents to Walcott. He lived there until 20 years ago when he went to Canada and later to Red Wing. He is survived by his wife, six children, his mother, Mrs. C. A. Sargent of Red Wing, two brothers, Arthur D. Grant of Faribault, Alfred Grant of Duluth and a sister, Mrs. Frank Lampson of Cumberland, Wis. Wallace Crawford and Fred Crawford of this city are cousins of the deceased. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at Red Wing and interment will be made there. Mr. Grant was a graduate of the agricultural college, St. Paul, and is well known by many Faribault people.
