Robert A. Anderson was age 9 in the 1930 census with his parents in Waterloo, Linn County, Oregon. His parents were Anders P. age 44 born Denmark and Irma age 39 born in Wisconsin and he had siblings Chester S. age 7 and Dorothy E. age 5. In 1940 he was still living same age 19.

He married Ruby M. Benson Sept 28, 1969.

Robert Arthur Andersen 94, a longtime resident of the Lebanon area passed away on Wednesday Dec 30, 2015, at the Samaritan Evergreen House in Albany.

Robert was born Dec.31, 1920 in Waterloo, the son of Andrew and Irma (Solle) Andersen. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. After his honorable discharge, he returned to Lebanon and worked throughout his career as a log truck driver and he operated a small farm. He retired to live on Gore Drive near Lebanon. He was a member and past president of the Lebanon Moose Lodge.

He was preceded in death by three wives, Alta, Ruby, and Delores; sister Margaret Jauck; and brother Chester Andersen.

He is survived by a son, David Andersen of St. Helens, Washington; a daughter, Barbara Wolfe of Enterprise; a sister Dorothy Park of Milwaukee and several nieces and nephews

No formal services are planned. A private interment was in the IOOF Cemetery.
