She was a 50-year member of the Royal Neighbors, a charter member of the VFW auxiliary and a member of Spanish American War Veterans Auxiliary. She was a housemother at Alford and North Halls on the Central Washington State College campus from 1950 to 1956.
Anna died at the age of 68 at the home of her daughter, Miss Esther Miller, with whom she had lived the prior seven years. Survivors included three sons and four daughters. One son and an infant daughter preceded her in death. She is buried in IOOF Cemetery in Ellensburg.
Niece Betty (Grimm) Jordin remembers her aunt's embrodery and crocheting. Anna operated a mangle at home.
