HENDERSON RITES TO BE HELD HERE
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Champion Drawing Room for George R. Henderson, 62, who died January 12 at Thermopolis, Wyo. The Rev. Donald G. Smith will officiate. Henderson, who was born in Boston, Mass., on Feb. 4, 1879, had been employed as a mine electrician at the Sheridan Wyoming Coal company at Acme, Wyo., for 20 years prior to making his home in Thermopolis. He was a member of the United Mine Workers, Local 239.
Henderson is survived by his wife, Mrs. Grace Henderson, of Thermopolis; six daughters, Mrs. William Norris, of Hanna, Wyo.; Mrs. J.L. Bethurem, of Sheridan; Mrs. Virgil Tucker, of Kincaid, Kan.; Mrs. Bert Klopp, of Cheyenne, Wyo.; and NeRoma and Hauretta Henderson of Thermopolis; one son, Oscar Henderson, of Acme; one brother, John Henderson, of Thornburn, Nova Scotia; and nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
