. Mrs. Bertha L. Andres, 79, of Rt. 1, Floyds Knobs, died at 8 a.m. Friday at the Kingston Nursing Home in New Albany following two years' illness. She was a native of Floyds Knobs, the widow of Joseph M. Andres and belonged to St. Mary's of the Knobs Catholic Church. She leaves three sons, Anthony Andres of New Albany and Carl and Paul Andres both of Floyds Knobs; three daughters, Mrs. Irma Bodenstadt of California and Mrs. Martha Streigel and Mrs. Gladys Koetter, both of Floyds Knobs; 66 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Will Receveur of New Albany and Ferd Receveur of Floyds Knobs, and one sister, Mrs. Ella Batliner, Louisville. The body will be at the Kraft Funeral Home after noon Saturday pending final arrangements.
