Early Wyatt Thrasher was born on 16 Nov 1813 in Clarke, Ga. He was a plantation owner in Morgan County, Georgia. He was first married to Olivia Regan Hester, the mother of his first six children. With his second wife, Martha Brooks (the widow Olive,) he moved the family to Florida in 1876 after purchasing citrus groves on both sides of the Marion/Alachua County lines. He died in 1879 in the Evinston community, on the Marion County side of the Alachua/Marion County line, Florida.
