Cherokee Sentinel, April 25, 1902, page 3:
Mrs. Daisy Jones (nee Anderson) is very ill at her home at the Strode place.
Cherokee Sentinel, May 2, 1902, page 6:
Died
Mrs. Daisy Jones, of whom we spoke last week as being very ill, died on Friday, and funeral services were held at the Christian Church on Sunday by G.W. Brown.
She was an excellent young woman, and the large crowd assembled at the church on Sunday attested to the fact that she had a large circle of friends.
We have waited to the last minute before going to press for some one to hand in an obituary, but no one has done so, hence these hasty lines.
