Graveside services and interment for Nancy Jane Denham were conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, 1998 at the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery north of Rock Springs.
Mrs. Denham, 76, of 1300 New Hampshire Space 25, Rock Springs, died at 2 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, 1998, at her home.
A resident of Rock Springs for one and one-half years and former resident of Rosamond, Calif., Mrs. Denham had been in ill health for the past six years.
She was born Aug. 20, 1922 in Pike County, Ky., the daughter of the late Grover and Mary Hall Irick.
She married Alva Wilbur Denham in Charleston, W. Va., on Oct. 30, 1941 and he preceded her in death on Feb. 12, 1998.
Mrs. Denham was a member of the Baptist Church. Other interests included traveling, camping, fishing and gardening.
Survivors include one son, Richard Leonard Denham of Rock Springs; one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Don Worden of Rock Springs; two brothers, Harry and Abbtrick, both of Kentucky; three sisters, Rachel Clark, Audrey Parson and Miron Conn, all of Kentucky; three grandchildren, Rachel S. Anson, Donald A. and Christopher E. Worden; two great-grandchildren, Tony and Tyler Anson and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
