Lillian Henry, age 84 passed away Friday March 26, 2004 in Georgia. A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday April 5, 2004 at the Shields Blvd. Baptist Church, 3700 S. Shields Blvd., OKC. Lillian, the daughter of Gene and Cynthia McEver, was born April 15, 1919. She graduated from Cushing High School in 1938. She married Wilbur Henry in 1941. A long time resident of Oklahoma City, she worked for many years at Capital Hill State Bank and was a member of Shields Blvd. Baptist Church for over 50 years prior to moving to Georgia in the Fall of 2003. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur, her parents, her brother Frank McEver and by sisters Audrey Hays and Byrdia Miller. Survivors include her son, Gary & wife Carol, grandchildren David Henry and Courtney Henry and two great grandchildren, all of Roswell, GA; nephews D. Frank Robinson and Ron Hays of OKC, Reuben Miller of Kansas City, and nieces LaJuania Dorman, Cindy Miller and Linda Nelson of Kansas City; along with numerous great nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family recommends memorial contributions be made to Shields Blvd. Baptist Church.
