Mr. Forney was born July 22, 1898, in Thurman, Iowa. He was married to Grace Ryan, who is deceased. He was then married to Lila Mae Mims, who is deceased. He was married Dec. 11, 1971, to Maxine Lewis, who is deceased.
He is survived by a son, Joseph W.; a sister, Rebecca Muehring; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday with a rosary at 6 p.m. at Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471- 9900. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pauline Chapel, 2 Park Ave. Private inurnment will be in Indiana.
