Local Lady Laid to Rest

Mrs. Fred Hass passed away at her home here late Thursday afternoon, April 10th after a lingering illness of several months duration during which time she suffered numerous serious illnesses. All that medical and loving care could to during her years of poor health was done for her and through it all she was patient and courageous.

Funeral services were held from her home Saturday afternoon, April 12 at 1:45 to St. John's Lutheran Church at 2 o'clock with Rev. G. C. Falsken officiating. Interment was in the Beemer cemetery with the following pallbearers; Lionel and Elton Schulz, Delbert Mahnke, Lowell Toelle, Lloyd Nellor and Adolph Rassch Jr.

Mrs. Inez Elsie Hass was born December 5, 1904 to Mr. and Mrs. J. Rassch at Beemer. January 8, 1905 she was baptized in St. John's Lutheran Church by Rev. S. Rathke. April 25, 1920 she was confirmed by Rev. W. Oetting. On September 12, 1922 she was united in marriage to Fred Hass. Their marriage was blessed with three sons and one daughter, one son died in early infancy. She attained the age of 47 years, 4 months and 5 days. She leaves to mourn departure her husband, two sons, Arvid and Ronald and one daughter, Mrs. Vernon Balak; two grandchildren, Rodney and Roxanne Balak; her mother, Mrs. Sophia Raasch; two brothers, John, Bancroft, Nebraska, and Adolph , Beemer; five sisters, Mrs. Martha Toelle, Omaha; Mrs. Harry Nellor, Mrs. Wm Mahnke, Beemer; Mrs. Emil Schulz, Scribner and Mrs. Herman Schulz, Dallas, Texas.
