Possible middle name of Philpot after her maiden aunt Herodias Philpot. Middle name not confirmed by any records so far.

In a letter written by Hery's mom on March 25, 1831, it says that Hery's birthday was November 6, 1808.

NOTE: Although her husband John Ward Adkins is listed as buried in Adkins Cemetery also, there is no evidence to support that fact. John left Henry County after killing a neighbor in a dispute and never returned. The family story is that he was found in Texas by Joseph F. Boyd, his son-in-law, sometime in the 1870s but Joseph returned to Henry County, Missouri without him and no more is known of John after that.
