Mrs. Ruth E. Herrick, 90, formerly of Kenosha, late of Bridgewater, Mass., died Tuesday (Aug.16, 1983) at the Woodridge Nursing Home in Borckton, Mass.
The daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James (Elizabeth Compton) Lynch, she was born and attended school in Chicago.
She had been a resident of Kenosha for more than 50 years. She lived in Bridgewater for the past 10 years.
She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church while there.
She was a Gold Star Mother of World War II.
Surviving is a daughter, Dr. Jane Herrick, of Bridgewater.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; and a son who was killed at Pearl Harbor (Paul E. Herrick) Kenosha News, Aug. 1983
Ruth married Paul Howden Herrick Jan. 20, 1916. He was born April 4, 1893 and died January 24, 1960 in Los Angeles.
