Born Feb. 1, 1915, in Porter Township, he was a son of David and Emma Fox Weaver. He was married June 24, 1936, to the former Helen Hamm, who survives.
Mr. Weaver was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ at RD2 Knox and the Willing Workers Class of the church. He was a member of the IOOF Lodge in Sligo. He was employed for 21 years by Glass Containers Corp. of Knox, retiring in 1974.
In addition to his widow, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Jean) Dunlap of Knox and Mrs. George (Verna) Giucci of Franklin; two sons, Gary and David of Franklin; seven grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Clare Mills of Clarion and two brothers, David and Ronald Weaver of RD New Bethlehem.
Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday from the William N. Rupert Funeral Home in Knox with the Rev. Eli Fabian officiating. Burial was in Rimersburg Cemetery.
