Mr. Willie Joe "Cordell" Key was born March 18th, 1940 12:00 a.m. to the late James Armel Key and Maggie Lee (Conner) Key. He had one brother Kenneth Key, and four sisters. They were Ina, Linda, Elizabeth, and Dean. Mr. Key worked at many different jobs over the years. He was married to his first wife Linda Carol (Dailey) Key. I am not sure when they were married or divorced. He later became disabled. He finally met the love of his life Betty Jean Davis in May of 1984. Willie and Betty were married on Oct. 6th 1984 in Celina, Tennessee. They were married at the place where tombstones were made in Celina, Tennessee. They were married by a Mr. Cherry, I am not sure of his first name. Two years later Mr. Key became a father at the age of 46 years old. His one and only daughter was born November 17th, 1986 and they named her Samantha Faye Key. Mr. Key loved his family very much he was blessed with another addition when he gave his daughter away at her wedding on Oct. 1st,2005 He gained a Son that day Mr. Ricky Lee Bean Jr. He was blessed again with his first grandson on Sept. 4th,2005 and he was right there at the hospital when his grandson was born. He would later find out that he was going to have yet another grandson, On March 27th, 2006 he found out he was going to be a grandfather again and Mr. Key was so happy, he could not wait to met his second grandson. But the Lord wanted him and so Mr. Key was taken on Sept. 25th, 2006. After Mr. Key passed his daughter and son-in-law had one more son on Sept. 20th, 2008. They knew that he be so proud to have yet another grandson. I would just like to say in closing that the family wanted a little bit of his life shared so his memory would still live on.
