HERMAN "JAY" VARNDELL, age 86, of Suffield Twp., OH., formerly of Bedford, OH.

Loving father of Jody Varndell, Rachel (Michael) Bailey, Debra Herron, David, Joel, Mark (Cheryl), Christopher and Timothy (Rose) Varndell.

Loving grandfather.

Dear brother of Patricia (Francis) Zahron and the late Francis (Beanie) Masciarelli, Lucille Hojara, Ruth (Tobe) Groover, Betty (Jess) Parnell, Goldie (Joseph) Mathews, Beatrice (Theodore) Chesler, Mildred (Fred) Jones and Herman (Rosa) Varndell.

Former husband of Elizabeth (nee Cable) and Marion (nee Long) Varndell.

Jay served his country during WWII in the U.S. Navy.

Died Friday, May 22, 2009.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at JOHNSON-ROMITO, A GOLDEN RULE FUNERAL HOME, 521 BROADWAY AVE., BEDFORD, OH., (440)-232-1441, where friends will be received TUESDAY 2-4 AND 6-8 P.M.

Burial Bedford Cemetery.
