Mary White Colston married, October 4, 1854, Mr. William Leigh, who had been an officer of the United States navy, but resigned a short time prior to his marriage, and settled on the property inherited from his grandfather, Raleigh Colston, in Berkeley county. He died at Gale Hill in said county, in January, 1888, leaving a widow and six children, viz.: Benjamin Watkins, Edward Colston, Raleigh Thomas, William Robinson, Thomas Watkins and Elizabeth Keith Marshall.
