Her parents were John Hamilton LaBarre b. Canada 1839 and Mary Elizabeth Hotchkiss, b. Canada 1851.
Julia was my great grandmother and married my great grandfather Isaac Marion Hartman when she was just fifteen.Sometime after the last baby was born and before 1910 Julia and Isaac packed up their children and headed West to Washington state, they settled in Skagit County. We assume they came by train as Isaac was a Railroad man. Isaac died in 1918 and Julia married Martin Tamby from Finland, she is buried with the Hartman name.
At one time my great grandmother Julia was living on the same street as I now live , she was on the East side and I'm on the South side.It was odd as neither of us were born in this state or lived our lives here, we both moved here from other states.
