Obituary from the Eldon Advertiser, Thursday, June 9, 2009:

Anthony James Easton, 51, of St. Ann died Thursday, June 11, 2009 at the Jefferson Barracks Veteran's Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born April 19, 1958. During his youth, he became the foster son of Roger and Linda McCreery of Eldon, graduating from Eldon High School in 1976. In 1982, he was married to Tina Bono of St. Louis. She survives at the home, with grandson Kyle.

Mr. Easton retired from the US Navy in 2001 and has since lived in the Rolla and St. Louis areas. His daughter Paula is currently serving in Afghanistan as an officer/nurse with the US Navy.

In addition to his wife and grandson, his daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Josh Prentice, and a daughter Lindsay survive.

A private family memorial service, preceded by full military honros, was held June 25 at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
