Rev. Lee C. Music, 70, died Monday, April 17, 1995 at his Van Lear residence. Mr. Music was born June 15, 1924, in Johnson County, the son of the late Alex and Mary VanHoose Music. He was a retired electrician from Martin County Coal and member of West Van Lear Freewill Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Gracie Preston Music; two sons, Roger Music of Van Lear and Lee Music of West Van Lear; two daughters, Shirlene Webb of Van Lear and Brenda Music of Spring City, TN; three brothers, Jim and Robert Music, both of Wabash, IN, and Ray Music of Marion, OH; one sister, Betty Louise Castle of Wurtland; and nine grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday, April 20 at Preston Funeral Home Chapel, with Larry Blair and George Conley
officiating. Burial was in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery at Staffordsville.
