June Johnson, age 82, died Friday, December 24, 1999 at her home. She was born June Sellers on July 13, 1917 at Tipton.
Mrs. Johnson was co-owner and operator of Circle Inn Restaurant and Johnson Truck Line, both of Osborne.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, in 1996; a daughter, Katherine Jacobs, in 1995; a grandson and a great-grandson.
Surviviors include two sons, Thomas of Boaz, Ala., and Marvin of Osborne; two daughters, Pat Duncan and Jodi Brummers, both of Osborne, a brother, William "Junior" VanMeer of Conway, Ark.; 19 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Clark-Gashaw Chapel with the Rev. Bill Neumann officiating. Music was by Arleta Byrd, Mark Morrison and Ronda Roach.
Casket bearers were Rodney Boland, Troy Conway, Steve Schellinger, Bryan Byrd, Vernon Covert, and Jim William. Honorary casket bearers were T. J. Brummer, David Johnson, Darin Jacobs, Justin Johnson, and Mark Johnson. Burial was in Cheyenne Cemetery, rural Luray.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
