Logan- Thomas Lee Bahler beloved husband, father, and grandfather, 84, passed away Monday, February 16 at home.

Tom was born on February 1, 1920 in Walnut Creek, Ohio to Ralph and Kittie Bahler. He attended Wooster College and obtained his PhD at the University of Wisconsin. He married Patricia McCrary of Neenah, Wisconsin and begin his career at Utah State University, where he remained until retirement.

During this time he taught physiology, anatomy, and histology and was also the pre-medical advisor. He was respected and well liked by his students and received multiple teaching awards.

He enjoyed playing bridge with his friends and many other social activities. He was also an avid gardener, and won several awards at the Logan Iris Show. His vegetables were top notch and enjoyed by all. Piano and organ music was a big part of his life since his youth. For 50 years, he was an organist at the First Presbyterian Church in Logan.

Tom is survived by his wife Patricia, married for 55 years; children: David of Salt Lake City, Utah and Katherine Roark (Tim) of Salem, OR. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Teresa and Conor Roark.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 21, 11:00 am in the First Presbyterian Church, 12 South 200 West, Logan, Utah. Relatives and friends are welcome to call Friday from 6pm to 8pm at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E Center, Logan, Utah.
