Mrs. Mary Abbot McGarrah, widow of Theodore McGarrah, and mother of Gates W. McGarrah, president of the Mechanics and Metals National Bank New York, whose summer home is in Goshen, died on Friday in her 83rd year, at her home in Westfield, N. J. Mrs. McGarrah was a daughter of the late Rowland PEARSALL.
Funeral services were held at her late residence yesterday at 4 p.m. The remains were brought to Monroe yesterday, and interment was in the family plot in the Seamanville Cemetery, today at eleven o'clock. Mrs. McGarrah was a resident of Monroe for many years, and had many warm friends there. She is survived by one son, GATES W. and one daughter, Ella.
