Valerie P. (Pienta) Churley, age 82, of Merrillville, passed away Friday, September 4, 2009.
She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Churley of Merrillville; son, Joris Churley of Lake Village; four grandchildren: Nicholas, Joris II, Michael and Justin.
Preceded in death by her husband, George; and brothers and sisters. Valerie was a member of Saint Stephen Martyr Church. She was also a member of the Pearl Harbor Survivors and the Daughters of Isabella Bishop Noll Circle 359. Valerie attended Emerson High School.
