NOTE: The cemetery where John Boone along with his first & last wife, with some children are buried was no doubt at first called Potter Cemetery. Later in years Cantrell family were buried in the front, & that is why it is called that. The Potters are just a few feet away from them and the oldest graves there. It is a very small cemetery.

John married Susannah Sookie Ellen Sanders on March 27, 1851 in Pike Co., KY.
Their children were Arty, Betheny, Thomas, James, George, Hannah, Enoch, Martha, Susan, Didema, John, and Rhoda Potter. Susannah died in 1892.

John married Jane Matney on Jan. 20, 1894 in Pike Co., KY.

John was the son of Isaac Potter and Mary Polly Houston.
