Nina Faye White, 71, of Irving, died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009, at 8:15 a.m. at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.
A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Richard Small, officiant. Burial will follow in Irving Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
Mrs. White was born on March 28, 1938 in Quinlan, TX, the daughter of the late Houston and Bobbie (Green) Clark.
She married Don L. White on Oct. 17, 1959 on Perrin Air Force Base in Denison, TX, and he survives. The two lived in Irving from the time they were married.
A member of the Open Arms Fellowship Church in Irving and the Home Extension, she was a doll collector and loved to bowl, paint, and crochet.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. White is survived by four children, Laurie (husband Allan) Weitekamp of Farmersville, Denise (husband Grant) Wise of Irving, Michele (husband Larry) Reincke of Irving, and Randy (wife Terra) White of Irving; 12 grandchildren, Nicole Lanham, Chad Weitekamp, Katie Weitekamp, Stephanie Mears, Matthew Reitz, Michael Reitz, Jennifer Reincke, Ryan Reincke, Julia White, Jonathan White, Joy White, and Abigail White; one great-grandchild, Colin Hardin; and a sibling, B.J. Clark of Hillsboro.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. White was preceded in death by a son, Don L. White Jr., who died in infancy.
The family suggests memorials to the Montgomery County Cancer Association.
