Julius worked for Friedrich Refrigeration Inc. (later Friedrich Air Conditioning Co, Inc.) for 39 years. After retirement he and Velma moved to a farm in Floresville. As his health declined he and Velma sold the farm and moved into town on Indian Pink. Julius loved life and had many friends. Julius "Sonny" and Velma had one daughter, Carol Ann Henze (David) Peterson. Julius married Velma Gertrude Lux on June 21, 1941. Carol Ann Henze was born to them on May 10, 1945. Brothers & sisters: Anna Henze Cain Saathoff Cain, John Henze (Clara), Rudolph Henze (Louise), Tillie Henze (Leo) Adam, Stella Henze (Henry)Adam (Max)Podehl, Mary Louise (Tootsie) (Elton)Schmidt (Arnold) Matheaus. His grandchildren are Eric Wade Peterson and wife April Fuller Peterson and Breanna Lynn Peterson McDonald and husband Mark D.McDonald. Greatgrand children are Hunter Arcuri and Erin Soleil Peterson.
