Juanita Brown passed away Thursday January 2nd, 2020 at Heritage Village Nursing Home in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 96.

Juanita was born July 4th, 1923 in Hughes County to Odus and Gladys (Bernard) Stringfellow. Juanita attended Moss public school. She married Paul Rainwater Brown April 20, 1940. Juanita was a homemaker. Juanita was a great cook and she was known for making "much with little". She loved to travel to Hot Springs with friends and family and loved the holidays. She was a great Mom. She enjoyed her many friends and her Christian faith.

Juanita is preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul Brown, son Jackie Brown, granddaughter Tina McMeans, siblings; Lloyd Stringfellow, Charlene Upchurch and Hallagene Harmon. She is survived by children; Dewayne Brown and wife Gloria, daughter in law Jan Brown, Joyce Ann Pryor, Jimmy Brown and wife Gail, Billy Brown and wife Susan, Randy Brown and wife Linda, Mark Brown and wife Deena, Raynita Lee and husband Robbie all of Holdenville, 21 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 5 great, great-grandchildren, siblings; Harold Dean Stringfellow, Patsy Hladik, and Billie Leewright. Juanita is survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers are Daren Brown, Brandon Brown, Trey Don Brown, Torey Brown, Billy Paul Brown, Ryan Brown, Robert Brown, Aaron Brown and Sawyer Lee. Honorary pallbearers are John Stirman, Jim Upchurch, David Horton, Richard Nolen, Gary Shields, Scott Olivo, Donnie Hardwick, Terry Hardwick and Gerald Roberts.

Funeral service will be 2:00PM Saturday January 4, 2020 at the First Baptist Church in Holdenville with Rev. Ron Chastine officiating assisted by Rev. David Pope.

Interment will follow at Holdenville Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home Holdenville, Oklahoma.
