He was a coal miner.
He is survived by his wife Kathaleen Rose Burke; three sons, Ronnie Burke, Allen, Timmy Burke, Dandridge, Tenn., and Randy Burke, Sitka; two brothers, Estill Burke, Ashland, and Randall Burke, Chicago, Ill..; six sisters, Delta Williams, Banner, Lena Daniels, Louisa, Tessie Williams, Louisa, Mable Vicors, Tenn., Eunice Voorhees, Ohio, and Gracie Ann Johnson, New York; and eight grandchildren.
Services were conducted by Delon Jones and Darrell Harmon, with burial at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville.
Arrangements under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Elkhorn City.
