From 1943 to 1946, he served his country during WWII as a sharpshooter Europe. One of his stations during the war was Germany. Ken fought and got his legs frozen in the Battle of the Bulge. There is a collection of Ken's memories of the war is on display in museum at Merced, California.
After the war and college he worked for American Airlines until 1980.
He leaves behind his loving family, one daughter and son-in-law; one son; and five grandchildren.
