Also surviving are her three children; two daughters, Marilyn Seidel (Bill)of New Whiteland and Kathryn Crosley and her fiancee, Russell Cooprider of Jasonville; a son, Bennett Tackett (Patti) of Juneau, Alaska; eight grandchildren; a brother, James Slayton; and several neices and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Coy Jr. and a sister, Mary K. Murley.
She enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable garden and crocheting.
Funeral services will be conducted at Forest Lawn Memory Garden Wilson St, Pierre Funeral Home on Sat. Mar. 12, at 10 a.m. Visitation will be on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
