The Lore sisters, Adelaide and Eugenia, were the preeminent genealogist for Cabarrus County. During their lives they compiled a number of volume of cemetery burials.

Adelaide and Eugenia Lore were authors of the definitive resource book "WHITE: We Have Identified Thousands. Enough!" , c.1967, about the huge White family of Cabarrus County NC. They sold the book themselves out of their home in Concord, NC until their deaths. Although the book is out of print it is available for reference research in the History Room of the Concord Public Library, Concord, NC.

In addition to the "White" book, they also wrote:
"Early Medicine In Cabarrus", c 1990
"Open The Gate And Roam Cabarrus With Us", c 1971
"The Morrison Family Of The Rocky River Settlement Of North Carolina; History And Genealogy", c 1950
