Amie Michelle Arnold of Comanche, passed away Friday afternoon, Jan. 15, 2010, at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Thursday. She was 16 years old. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 18, at the Ray of Hope Church with Mike McCord, Warren Harkins, Dow Pannell and her uncle, Rex Arnold officiating. Interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery under direction of Comanche Funeral Home. Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to noon Monday. Amie was born Oct. 21, 1993 at Fort Worth, Texas, to Jeff and Denise (Rogers) Arnold. She was currently a sophomore at Comanche High School. She loved driving her car, spending time with her friends, raising rabbits, shopping online, spending money, shooting guns, going on youth outings with her church, but mainly Amie loved being able to spend time with her best friends; her parents. She was a member of the Breakthrough Youth Group at Ray of Hope Church. She is survived by her parents, Jeff and Denise Arnold, of Comanche; paternal grandmother, Marion Sutton, of Duncan; maternal grandfather, Joe Rogers, of Comanche; two uncles: the Rev. Rex Arnold, of Clinton and Joey Rogers, of Ft. Worth, Texas; four aunts: Darlene Setticase and husband, Andy, of New York City, N.Y., Mary Jo DeVito and husband, Jimmy, of New York City, Michelle McDaniel and husband, Richard, of Tulsa and Natalie Mize-Rogers; five cousins: Sean Urban, Jordann McDaniel, Rachel McDaniel, Aaron Morales, and Maria Morales and many dear friends and classmates. Amie was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Mary Rogers and her paternal grandfather, Jerry Arnold. A memorial fund has been set up in Amie's name c/o Ray of Hope Church.
