MRS. MYRTLE JANE ROSE DIES
PASSES AWAY AT HER HOME IN ALBA
The Funeral Will be Held Wednesday Afternoon at the Knell Service Home
Mrs. Myrtle Jane Rose, 66, mother of Mrs. Roy Hendrickson, of Carthage, died at 4:30 o'clock at her home in Alba. She had been ill several years.
Mrs. Rose was born July 30, 1880 in Pratt, Kans. Her parents lived southwest of Carthage when the daughter was a child and Mrs. Rose attended Pleasant Valley school in this district. She was married in Carthage to Alfred Rose. The last 40 years she had lived in Alba.
Surviving Mrs. Rose are four other daughters, Mrs. Charles Kempf of the home; Mrs. Arlo Lassiter of Alba, Mrs. Clark Shoemaker of Purcell and Mrs. Jesse Snyder of Colorado Springs. 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mr. Rose died five years ago.
Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning at the Knell service home, with the Rev. Harry Snow of Springfield in charge. Burial will be in Park Cemetery.
