Catherine Farney Beheler, 78, 750 Shaker Dr., died Wednesday at St. Joseph Hospital. She was a native of Lexington, a daughter of the late Dillard Preston and Willie Kate Moores Farney. She is survived by a sister, Lucille Phelps, Lexington; two nieces, Ann Sowards, Lexington, and Pat Beashears, Arlington, Texas; and two great-nieces and two great-nephews, Patricia Sowards, Lexington, Kathryn Sowards, Austin, Texas, Leonard Sowards, Jr., and Scott Sowards, both of Lexington. Services are 10 a.m. Friday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home. Burial is in Lexington Cemetery. Friends may call 6-9 p.m. today.
