He was born March 22, 1938 in New York City to Eugene Credaroli and Marie M. Zhem. He married B. Eleene Baker in Norwalk, California.
Gene loved camping and traveling by car and motor home to see the countryside and explore new areas of this and surrounding states. He loved custom cars, going to car shows and cars of the 50's and 60's era. He also loved riding his motorcycle and skimming across the water in our ski boat. He had fun square dancing for several years and helped out with the scouting program at church, he especially had fun helping with the Klondike derby.
Gene served his country in the U.S. Army from 1963-1965. He was a Master Tool Maker in the aircraft industry in California for many years. Before moving to Utah he worked on the first DC 10 airplane. He was employed at Geneva States Steel Pipe Mill before closing. He became a tool maker again at Teleflex Defense Systems in Spanish Fork until retirement. He also mentored at Auto Meter in Pleasant Grove.
He is preceded in death by his parents. Gene is survived by his wife, Eleene, three children; Todd Credaroli, Michele (Frank) Erhart and Anthony (Tony) Credaroli; nine grandchildren, Aubrey and Austin Credaroli; Sarah, Erica, Amanda and Alicia Cobb; Dylan, Tanner, and Brekynn Lynn Credaroli.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the LDS Church, 1200 North 800 East, Orem.
Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Orem City Cemetery, 1520 North 800 East, Orem. Full military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post 72.
