Eaton son of Edward Eaton and Eliza Cole, bron NY 1837, shortly after birth his family moved to Ingham co Mi, among his brothers John, Samuel, Edward and himself, joined the Volunteers of MI, only John and Joseph returned, Edward Jr the only son who was married at the time left a widow Juliette Myra Firster/Foster dau of Charles foster of Onondaga co. and six children after returning home in 1864/65 Joseph married his brothers widow and issued another 5 children, he died in 1888 and Juliette then married Ward Moore of Mecosta co MI
