Son of Frederick Wilhelm Hoepken and Anna Johanna Bruns Hoepken; He married Mary Brown January 7, 1910 in Chandler, OK; Mary died June 16 1946; Survivors include five sons, Bill Hopkins, Carl Hopkins and Jess Hopkins, all of Oklahoma City, OK, Fred (Junior) Hopkins of Cushing, OK, Albert Hopkins, Wellston, OK; two daughters, Juanita Hopkins Evans, Warwick, OK and Louise Hopkins Maness, Beaver, OK; one brother Emil. Hoepken,Lindsay, OK, two sisters Erna Raidt, Oklahoma City, OK and Anna Yancey, Chander, OK; and 21 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son Paul Hopkins who died in a car wreck on Nov. 2, 1950.
