Bonnie Mae Kuykendall, 72, of Route 1, Walls Church Road, died Tuesday in a Rutherford County hospital.
A native of Sevier County, Tenn., she had resided In Buncombe County for most of her life before moving to Bostic in 1978.
She was a daughter of the late Daniel Webster and Hattie Malvenia Rommains Gann and the wife of Dewey Spencer Kuykendall, who died April 25,1978.
Surviving are her stepmother, Nettle Flynn Gann of Asheville; a sister, Helen Gann Bradley of Bostic; four half sisters, Martha Sprinkle of Asheville, Winona Woodin of Salem, N. J., Willie Wiseman of Sweetwater, Tenn., and Cora Lee Thompson of Lake Tahoe, Calif.; a half brother, Lloyd Byrd of Stockton, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, Asheville. The Rev. Willard V. Coffey will officiate. Burial will be in Green Hills Cemetery.
