WILLIAM OLIVER
85 of Boynton Beach passed away early in the morning on Tuesday, June 13, 2006. Son of the late Alonzo and Margaret (Gill) Oliver, he was born in Huntington, WV on January 20, 1921. He worked as a bread salesman for Smith Bakery and Dolly Madison. He helped start Golden Loaf Bakery in Orlando, FL and was the original owner of Boynton Golf Discount Pro Shop, with Pro Shops in Villa Delray and Lucerne Lakes Country Club where he was a Club Pro. He also retired from the Palm Beach Post in 1986 and worked for Life Care Home Services as an Elderly Companion. He dedicated 2 1/2 years of his life in WWII for the US Army. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post #5335 in Boynton Beach. He was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and loved to watch the games, work in the yard and a daily drive by the ocean.

He is survived by his two sons, John (Christine) Oliver and Keith Sill; former spouse of 20 years, Naomi B. Oliver; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son William K. Oliver and siblings, Eileen Waters and John Thomas Oliver.

There will be no service at this time but at a future date, Mr. Oliver's ashes will be laid to rest in the South Florida National Cemetery.
